60 years of Dorner

The Party

For one day, the Hirschen in Schwarzenberg transformed into Dornerland. We celebrated the 60th anniversary of Dorner Electronic in this traditional house. At this celebration for employees and partners, the past provided the 150 guests with plenty of inspiration for the future.

Get together in the Hirschen garden in the afternoon. The two Managing Directors honored the milestones of the past. Much of what makes us successful today is based on the pioneering spirit of the founders Elmar and Konrad Dorner. The foundation is solid, the constant change challenging, said Managing Director Matthias Droop.

‘Rapid technological changes demand a great effort from all of us. However, we have all the prerequisites to contribute to a good future as a technology partner for concrete manufacturers with useful tools.’

Yesterday and today

Kilian Dorner quoted from the speech his grandfather had given on the occasion of the company's 30th anniversary in 1994 and found astonishing timeless parallels:

‘We still combine technical imagination and the enthusiasm to realise things. Just like back then, product development and market cultivation must harmonise.‘

Artists in residence

For the anniversary, we commissioned two artists to freely engage with our company. The photo artist Julius Hirtzberger created a kind of photo essay with Dorner's customers, focusing on the beauty of concrete plants.

And the sculptor Thomas Schrenk dealt with relics from the company's history. From the electronic stocks of the past decades, he formed a sculpture in the shape of a vase.

Diverse programm

There was plenty to discover and savour at the culinary stations throughout the Hirschen. Another highlight was the anniversary book by Andreas Dorner, which he created together with author Karin Guldenschuh and the design studio Parterre.

At the live concert that followed, the All Right Guys performed groovy and emotional songs. And then it was party time with DJ Peter Fetz until the lights went out.
